Samsung Galaxy S III hit by new Android malware exploit

Alephzain of XDA Developers claims that they have discovered vulnerability in a number of Samsung devices that can gives access to physical memory of these devices. The potential flaw hackers can completely wipe out Samsung devices data or get access to complete data using different tools.

Samsung SIII exploit

The first device which was subjected to test by Alephzain was Samsung Galaxy S III and he found flaws in it. He says that flaw also exists in other Samsung devices like Galaxy S II, Galaxy Note II and the Meizu MX. He also hinted that other potential devices with flaw are those that feature Samsung kernel or an Exynos processor (4210 & 4412).

So far Samsung has issued no official statement on this critical security vulnerability. However the flaw has already being exploited. A moderator called Chainfire has already created an APK file using Alephzain’s exploit to gain root access on any Exynos4-based device.
