Nintendo's new WiiU video game goes out of stock owing to high sales
Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo of America President said in a statement that Nintendo’s new WiiU video game that was released on November 18  was effectively sold out at retail last week. The sales lasted the stocks sharpely. Nitendo presiden further added that the demands were very high for new WiiU video game.
Wedbush Securities analyst Michael Pachter said that Nintendo is on track to ship world wide 3 million this holiday season.He said that Nintendo’s marketing strategy is perfect and consistent with driving high demand. 
In US stores alone Nintendo sold roughly 400,000 Wii U games during its week. The game console is priced at $299.99 with 8-GB model and $349.99 for a 32GB console. It has a 6.2-inch touch screen wireless motion-sensitive game pad.
Fils-Aime reported that overall Nintendo sold more than 1.2 million game consoles in the U.S. during the week following Nov 18 including more than 300,000 Wii U systems,.
Nintendo expects to sell 5.5 million Wii U systems worldwide till March next year.
