Apple released list of best applications 2012

A number of great application and games were released in 2012 for Apple’s IOS. A number of extra ordinary applications made their way across Apple’s iTunes main page and interestingly many of them were from brand new developers.

Recently,Apple released a list of its top picks among the games and applications for 2012.
Apple ranked Paper as best application by the developer Fifty-Three. Paper is a great application for the iPad. It provides features such as sketch pad for artwork and scratchpad for notes. This application has a number of powerful tools that let users to easily create and shape notes and finally save them in “books”. Paper is an innovative application and is considered as one of the essentials for iPad users.

The second slot in applications category was won by Action Movie FX. This application makes many complicated computer tasks easier and simple. Action Movie FX helps users to record a short video clip and then generate a scene for the video automatically from different video features. With the single tap of a button user can dramatize a helicopter crash in his lawn or watch his neighbors car blown to pieces.The application is more of a fun application rather than productivity application.

In the Games category for iPad Apple selected The Room for the top slot. The Room is a puzzle game with a number of challenges equipped with beautiful graphics and sound.

The second slot was won by the Waking Mars. Waking Mars is a fluid game. The game has a number of twists and turns.

For the iPhone the top application selected by Apple is Action Movie FX which is on No 2 for iPad.

On second slot is Figure. Figure is a great tool to select from a variety of virtual sound features

On the game side of Rayman Jungle Run and Letterpress are the top two choices.

Google maps is back for Apple’s IOS with additional features

Google maps application have make a come back for iPhones after almost three months.

This week Google launched its official version of the application for Apple’s iOS 6. Although a number of users were using google maps via browsers but now they can use it via proper IOS application.
The application introduced a number of new features for the users including turn-by-turn navigation, additional maps, 2D and 3D rotating views. Earlier these all features were available for android platform only but now iPhone users can also benefit from these features.

Apple IOS users can now gift paid applications

Apple iOS users can now directly send an application after paying as a Gift to someone. IOS users can login to Apple’s application store and search for holiday gift ideas as per their choice.

User first have to open the Apple’s application Store app on iOS device.Then select a paid application which he wishes to gift to someone. There is a share button in the upper right corner. Clicking the button will pop out a Share screen with a gift button. Just tap the Gift button.

 

User will be asked to type in his Apple ID and password followed by payment type option. In the end user has to enter email address of recipient to receive the gift along with personal message if user wishes to add. There is also an option for selecting a date for the gift to be delivered.

Apple shares are getting boost after Apple’s CEO Tim cook revealed that from next year Apple’s Mac will be manufactured exclusively in United states.
Apple’s shares were up to 547.24 an increase of $8.45 or 1.57%. Apple’s share on Friday opened at $528.94.
In an interview with ROCK CENTER EXCLUSIVE Tim cook said 
“We’ve been working for years on doing more and more in the United States,” Cook told Williams. He said that Apple will spend $100 million to shift production line of Mac from China to US in 2013.
It was Tim Cook’s who joined Apple in 1998 first TV interview since taking over from  Steve Jobs. Cook stressed on the importance of bringing more jobs to US and for this manufacturing the Macs at US will be grat opertunity. Apple estimates to bring 600,000 jobs to US.

As per previous history the record of Apple ipad sales in the second and fourth quarter are always strongest.
One of the fact for high sales of Apple’s iPad in fourth quarter is that it released both the iPad Mini and iPad 4 in the fourth quarter.
Earlier Apple expected total estimates of iPad shipments to 22.7 million but after release of iPad Mini the estimates were revised to higher value. The iPad Mini sales are expected around 6.5 million to where as old models iPad 2, 3, and 4 sales are expected to 19 million.

iPhone launching in China,South Korea and other 49 countries in December

Apple continues to expand its latest iPhone 5 to more countries. Apple announced on Monday that the new smartphone will rollout in additional 51 countries in month of December. 

The iPhone 5 will launch in South Korea on Friday (December 7).Later it will be launched in additional 50 countries, including China on December 14 & 21 respectively. iPhone 5 will also be launched on Friday, December 21 in Botswana,Barbados, Central African Republic, Cameroon, , Egypt, Guinea, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Tunisia,Mauritius, Morocco, Niger,  St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St.Vincent & the Grenadines,  Uganda and Vietnam. Other countries includes:

The iPhone 5 is selling sharply Canaccord Genuity says. Moreover supply for Apple’s newest smartphone has improved.

The iPhone5 sales were strong as reported by AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint. Apple expects to sell 47.5 million iPhones in the last quarter which is up from its earlier forecast of 45 million.

Vimeo releases latest Vimeo application 3.0 for Apple’s iOS

Vimeo’s has released latest version of its Vimeo application 3.0 for Apple’s iOS. The ne application brings most of the features for the iPhone and includes tab-based navigation. A new feature called Feed helps easy browsing of new videos, and also support video uploads.Users can also share videos using iOS sharing features.

Vimeo has removed the editing feature from the iPhone version, but active projects can be saved to the Camera Roll. The edit feature is available for the iPad.

Users have started complaining about Apples latest iPhone.Most of users are complaining about the Power button

 “The power button sometimes does not respond for on and off function the way it should.”

The iPhone 5′s power button sometimes sticks or donot depress properly. Many users says that their iPhone is useless without the fix of this main problem
The best advice for users have power button problem is that they must return their in warrant sets and get a new one.

Apple plans to launch two new iMacs on 30 Novemebr and in December respectively

Apple has announced the its new ultra slim iMac that will be available for sale on Friday, Nov. 30. The announcement has been made after Apple first announced its new all in one desktop PC’s which new storage feature called Fusion Drive.
The iMacs will be available in two screen sizes 21.5 and 27 inches. Only the delivery of smaller size 21.5 inch iMac will start from Nov. 30 where as Apple will only take orders for larger size iMac and shipping will start in end of December.

The smaller screen iMac starts at $1,299 with a 2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor andh Nvidia Ge-Force GT 640M graphics. Another option is 2.9GHz Core i5 and GT 650M graphics at a price of $1,499.
One of the main features of new iMacs is its ultra slim display of just 0.2 inch (5mm) deep. Apple has designed the new iMac by eliminating one of the layers in the screen to make it flatten. The iMac production methods have also been changed by geting rid of components and ditching optical drives.
The new iMacs has 8GB of RAM and 1TB of hard disk. Buyers can also opt for Fusion Drive technology. Fusion Drive is an intelligent drive which will manage users most accessed files and applications by putting them in the SSD, make them to run faster. 
For a 27-inch iMac, you can get a 2.9GHz quad-core Core i5 with Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M graphics for $1,799 or a 3.2GHz Core i5 with GTX 675MX graphics for $1,999. Those appear to be the only configurations available.
